El Bethel United Methodist Church serves our community in a variety of ways. See the many ways listed below.

El Bethel Missions

How We Serve: El Bethel Missions is a 501( c )(3) charitable organization founded in 2015 by a group of El Bethel United Methodist Church members. The founders felt a special calling for mission work and wanted a to create a very flexible and responsive organization that could go when and where a need presented itself. They partner with the church and other organizations on local concerns, regional disaster relief efforts, and a special international mission in Costa Rica.

Costa Rica Mission Team

Website: n/a
How We Serve: El Bethel UMC helps provide money for transportation for our members to join the team. We give money for the children of Costa Rica to go to school. They require items such as uniforms since they are a Catholic Church sponsored school. It costs $75 for the outfit which includes shoes. We also give money for school supplies.

El Bethel also helps the Costa Rica Mission Team with building projects for concrete walls, ceilings, and general construction. We also help with painting projects for interior painting or staining. We help with landscaping projects, mixing & pouring cement. We help by providing Spanish coloring books. These are biblical based books & we provide colored pencils.

We also help entertain the children while people are working.

This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.
